Hãy cùng FELC chúng mình bỏ túi một vài cụm từ “than thở” về thời tiết mùa hè này nhé

Boiling hot (adjective) = baking hot (adjective): nắng nóng như thiêu đốt

E.g. The weather is baking hot today, and it seems completely still.

 Sultry (adjective): oi bức, ngột ngạt

E.g. The air was sultry, you could feel the ground almost burn under your shoes.

 Muggy (adjective): hầm nóng, oi bức

E.g. It was muggy in the car, so I took my keys and turned on the engine so that I could get the air conditioning going.

 Scorching summer days (noun phrase): những ngày hè nóng như thiêu đốt/ nóng cháy da

E.g. Some people prefer staying indoors enjoying the cool air produced by air conditioners on scorching summer days.

 Dog days of summer (noun phrase): những ngày nóng nhất của mùa hè

E.g. I wish I could go home from work early today. It’s hard to get any work done during these dog days of summer!
